Nerds

Our ward had a halloween party last night and Nic and I went as ourselves....NERDS! haha. It was really fun to see just how nerdy we could look.

Tammy's been keeping busy on her days off playing with her new sewing machine. She finished her first set of curtains a few days ago. Nic was thrilled to go out and buy a set of power tools so that he could install our curtain rod. The curtains really add warmth to our little Wymount apartment.

Study, study, study

Nic has been keeping really busy with school lately. He is currently taking Chemistry, Psychology, Biology, and College Algebra. Chemistry has proved to be the most time consuming class at this time. Tammy took the class six years ago, so it has definitely been a good review for her.

There isn't much else going on in Provo. Both our bikes became victims to some sharp stickers which left all tires flat. We just got around to replacing the tubes on the diamondback, which means more fun bike rides are to come!

Yellowstone, not Yosemite

Just to add a correction to our blog a few weeks back-
We were in Yellowstone, NOT Yosemite. For some reason my brain keeps wanting to call Yellowstone "Yosemite." Even after being corrected several times, I still tell people how much fun we just had at Yosemite (I haven't been to the real Yosemite for several years)

Birthday fun!

Since I'm scheduled to work on my birthday and the two days following my birthday, we decided to celebrate it a day early! MJ, Nic, and I had a delicious dinner consisting of BBQ steaks, mashed potatoes, salad, and garlic bread. It was great! I am so excited about my new sewing machine and sew kit! I'm definitely excited about my new hobby. Here of some pictures from our party.

Twilight series

Unfortunately, I've never been a big reader. I've always wanted to be into books, but had a hard time getting started. Everyone at work has been ranting and raving about the new Twilight series, by Stephanie Meyer, so I decided to give it a try. I've already finished the first book and am almost done with New Moon. My next purchase will be the newest book, Eclipse. I'd highly recommend these books to anyone!

Trip to Idaho

I haven't posted any photos recently, so I thought I'd post one from the surprise date I planned for Nic and some from our trip to Idaho.

I blindfolded Nic and made him guess where we were going for our date. We ended up just going out to dinner and movie (The Bourne Ultimatum). Making him guess where we were going by feeling the turns in the road was fun. Nic knows Provo better than I thought! He guessed Olive Garden right as we pulled up.

~IDAHO TRIP~

We stayed in a cabin in Island Park, ID a few days ago. Although the trip was last minut and short, we had a really nice time. The weather was so refreshing and cool and Nic's Aunt fed us very well. :)
